Radio

These are among the 30- and 60-second radio spots I wrote, directed and produced for NL Partners, a leading Maine advertising agency.

Maine State Lottery - Lucky Spots (mp3 file: 521k)
Maine State Lottery - Jackpot Jack (mp3 file: 519k)

L.L. Bean - Mother's Day (mp3 file: 519k)

Maine's Technical Colleges - Recruitment spot (mp3 file: 522k)

Interactive

I have developed content for a variety of Web sites and CD-ROMs. Highlights of my work include:

Creative concepting/copywriting

[screenshot from career toolbox CD-ROM]Career Toolbox CD-ROM, published by Chivas Regal
Voted one of the top 100 CD-ROMs for 1996 by PC Magazine

This project's goal was to reposition Chival Regal as an appealing choice for Gen X consumers by offering the latest information and strategies for business and career development. I did extensive research of popular and underground culture, music, literature and icons, which provided the thematic groundwork for the project. We developed a highly interactive content structure, with multimedia slideshows, games, roundtables, animations and customized search features.

Copywriting/research

L.L. Bean Website - National Parks Search
I helped develop the user interface and wrote content for over 400 state and national parks on L.L. Beans Website. The project involved extensive data collection and front-end design of a CGI database.

Creative Conceptor/Writer/Producer

Maine Public Utilities Commission
I wrote all print and electronic copy for a comprehensive, statewide public education campaign on electric restructuring. Strategies included direct mail campaigns, television, print and radio ads and a Website: www.pucfact.com. In addition, I scripted and produced a 10-minute consumer video with interviews and animations designed to demystify the complexities of deregulation.

Content Developer

IBM/Aptiva Website
I researched and wrote online content branding the Aptiva as a premiere family computer. Using the design concept of an Aptiva Schoolbus link, site users could access a wealth of electronic information about homework on the web, including original features and links to educational resources. It was among the first commercial sites to use value-added content to promote repeat visits by targeted users.

Site Developer/Writer

Associate in Arts Degree, Maine Technical Colleges
I concepted and wrote all copy for this 30-plus page Website, designed to market a major new degree program. The information chase was organized around four key marketing themes and developed an e-classroom of students to offer real-life viewpoints on the program's key benefits.
